nARCHITECTS collaborated with artist Sarah Sze as installation designers and consultants. A labyrinthine structural network of 100 fire escape stairs (scaled down to the scale of a cat), suspended in the atrium and tied to the building's structure at intermittent locations. nARCHITECTS produced physical and digital models, designed a module that would permit multiple permutations, sourced a fabricator, produced construction drawings, and coordinated the engineering and fabrication.
